Всложносочинённом предложении может ставиться запятая, точка с запятой и тире. 1. по умолчанию части сложносочинённого предложения разделяются запятыми, например: ночью было тепло, а утром набежали тучи и пошёл дождь.2. тире ставится, если вторая часть ссп содержит неожиданное и резкое противопоставление: пошёл мелкий снег — и вдруг повалил хлопьями (а. пушкин)3. точка с запятой ставится, если части ссп значительно распространены или менее тесно связаны по смыслу: он держал ее за талию, говорил так ласково, скромно, так был счастлив, расхаживал по этой своей квартире; а она видела во всем только одну пошлость, глупую, наивную, невыносимую (чехов) запятая не ставится, если части ссп имеют общий элемент, как-то: 1. общий второстепенный член.2. общее придаточное предложение.3. общее вводное слово/словосочетание.4. общая частица. запятая не ставится, если обе части ссп: 1. вопросительные предложения.2. побудительные предложения.3. восклицательные предложения.4. назывные предложения.
