Поездка в Стрэтрфорд

Стрэтфорд - очень интересный город в центре Англии. Все знают, что здесь родился Шекспир. Рядом со Стрэтфордом нет гор или глубоких ущелий, но здесь красивые леса, зеленые поля, тихая нежная река Эйвон и милые черные и белые домики с тростниковыми крышами.
Первое место, куда приходят приезжие, это дом Шекспира. Это маленький дом с маленькими комнатками в центре Стрэтфорда. В одной из этих комнат Шекспир и родился. На стенах его комнаты можно увидеть имена многих знаменитых людей, посетивших дом: Вальтер Скотт, Диккенс, Теккерей и другие. В одной комнате стоит маленький деревянный письменный стол, за которым работал Шекспир, когда ходил в стрэтфордскую гимназию.
За домом маленький сад с множеством цветов, деревьев и растений, который Шекспир часто упоминал в своих пьесах. Там же можно увидеть церковь, рядом с которой похоронен Шекспир. Там же есть бюст Шекспира, выполненный голландским  скульптором, жившим рядом с Шекспировским театром Глобус и видевшим писателя много раз. Недалеко от дома Шекспира располагается очень старая гостиница, которая, возможно, стоит там со времен Шеспира. На комнатах нет номеров, как в других гостиницах. Вместо них каждая комната названа в честь какого-нибудь персонажа Шекспировских пьес: "Гамлет", "Ромео и Джульетта" и так далее.
