My name is Roman. I’m 14 years old. I study at the secondary school and attend different sections in my free time, including section of ping-pong, section of painting and sculpture, section of photography. One of my passions is photography. Last year as a birthday present my parents bought me a professional camera. So, since then I’ve started taking lots of pictures. Most of all I like capturing natural phenomena. At the moment I have a large collection of successful pictures, which form my portfolio. However, my favourite photo is the photo of picturesque mountains, which I took in Kazakhstan. During the spring holiday we had a school trip there. I thought it was a beautiful country, full of natural wonders. It spans four climatic zones: desert, semi-desert, steppes and forest steppe. That’s why the scenery is so diverse. The part that we visited was situated along the border of Russia and Kazakhstan and it was a mountainous area. There were also clear lakes and valleys. I was glad that I took my camera with me. I managed to capture many nice places. The photo, which has a hold of me, contains the twin-peaked Belukha Mountain with small glaciers on top and Lake Yazevoye with its crystal clear waters. Belukha is the part of the World Heritage Site today and it’s the highest peak of the Altai Mountains. So, I’m proud to have such a remarkable photo. When I’m a bit older, I’ll arrange the exhibition of my photos. I’d like to share my collection with others and to hear their points of view

On the 1st three days all members of my family decorated our flat. My dearest brothers - the former is my elder brother and the latter is younger than me - decorated our room with me. A great deal of different toys, stickers and tinsel adorned our cozy room. Such a beautiful scene! Z Celebrating the New Year was also amazing.
