Petrovskoe Baroque — this was the architectural style focuses on samples of Swedish, German and Dutch civil architecture. The Cathedral's floor is paved with limestone slabs. 2.The winter Palace The building has a clear plan - similar to a square, a rectangle, complicated by large corbels at the corners. Its height emphasize two-tiered columns. Vertical partitioning of the Palace continues the statues and the vases, points the eyes in the sky. Varied decor: mirrors, statues, fancy gilt moulding, granite column, marble. 3.Menshikov Palace The main facade is emphasized by pilasters. Side corbels pediments ornate. The frontal zone is punctuated by a portico of wooden columns, elaborately imitating stone or marble. The floors were revealed horizontal rods. The walls of the two upper floors were decorated with pilasters of the Corinthian order, and the bottom two were United great pilasters of the ionic order.
