My favorite subject in school is mathematics. it is my favorite because i never have difficulty with it and always get good marks in tests. i suppose i am lucky to be born with a clear-thinking brain. so ever since young, manipulating numbers and figures came easy to me.the wonderful thing about
mathematics is that, besides some formulae, there is nothing else to remember. every step in solving a problem is done logically. other subjects like history and geography require a lot of memory work. remembering dates and other facts is hard work compared with the ease and simplicity of
mathematical reasoning.while mathematics is simple to me, some of my friends have great difficulty with it. i do not really understand why. they get stuck with simple problems and often give up. so i help them out when i can.the one advantage i have in being good in mathematics is that i do not have
to spend a lot of time on it. homework and tests are a breeze. so i have plenty of time left over to study other subjects. sometimes i feel sorry for my less fortunate classmates who get scolded in class for not completing their mathematics homework.anyhow i have come to realize that human beings
can be so different in their abilities while they look similar otherwise. some of us are lucky to be good in some things. others may not be so lucky.мій улюблений предмет у школі це .він мій улюблений тому,що я ніколи не відчуваю труднощів з ним і завжди получаю гарні оцінки в тестах.я вважаю, мені

дати і інші факти це важка робота в порівнянні з легкістю і простотою міркування.у той час, як просто мені, деякі з моїх друзів мають великі труднощі з нею. я дійсно не розумію, чому. вони зупиняються на простих завдань і . так, що я їм , коли можу.одна з переваг у тому,що я добре знаю і мені не
доведеться витрачати багато часу на неї. є завдання і тести - вітер. так, що в мене багато часу залишилося для вивчення інших предметів. іноді я відчуваю співчуття за моїх менш щасливих однокласників, яких сварять в класі за те,що вони не виконали завдання.у всякому разі я прийшов до висновку, що
люди можуть бути настільки різні у своїх силах, а вони схожі в іншому випадку. деяким з нас пощастило бути вправними в деякими речах . іншим так не пощастило.
The Autonomous Republic Crimea The republic is situated on the Crimea peninsula. It is between the Black Sea in the west and south, and the Sea of Azov — in the east. In the east the Crimea is separated from Russia by the Kerch Strait. The total area of the republic is 26 100 km2, population is 2 137 700. It is divided into 15 regions and 15 cities. Symferopol is the administrative centre of the Crimea. The Crimea consists of two very different parts — treeless steppe of the Crimean Lowland in the northern and central parts, and the Crimean Mountains in the south. The Crimean steppe, with its continental climate and steppe soils, occupies four-fifths of the territory. The Crimean Mountains consist of a narrow range of foothills and a low mountain chain covered with forests and high pastures. Below the mountains in the south there is a narrow coastal lowland — the Crimeansouthern shore — with a Mediterranian climate and vegetation. The rivers are short and shallow. On the northern slopes of the Crimean Mountains we find the Chorna, the Belbek, the Kacha, the Alma, the Salhyr and other rivers. There are also salt lakes there, such as the Sasyk, the Aktash and others. It is rich in natural resources, such as iron ore, natural gas, building materials, and salt from the lakes. Russians constitute 67.2 percent of the population, Ukrainians — 26.5 percent and there are 300 000 Tatars. Food production is the Crimea’s main industry. Food industry produces canned goods, fish and wines. Agriculture mostly specializes in plant-growing, vine-growing and animal husbandry. It is followed by iron-ore mining, metallurgy and machine-building. The main sea-ports are Kerch, Teodosia, Yalta, Sevastopol, and Yevpatoria. The Crimea is also the main resort and tourist area of Ukraine. The artist I. Ayvazovsky and the polar explorer I. Papanin were born in the Crimea
