Generation conflict is one of the most important problems nowadays. Kids and teenagers don`t want to act their ages and want to look and act like adults. They smoke, drink alcohol, and enter drug sub-cultures. They surf the internet and play computer games all day and night long. Many teenagers enter sub-cultures like goths and graffitimakers, wear defiant clothes and haircuts, and come home late.Their parents don`t like these things and have arguments with their children. Sometimes teens leave their homes or commit suicide because they think that nobody understands them.In my family, we haven`t got a problem with generation conflict, but I know families which do have. I think to have arguments with parents is only a hobby of silly children.Конфликт поколений — одна из самых важных проблем в настоящее время. Дети и подростки не хотят вести себя согласно их возрасту, а хотят выглядеть и вести себя как взрослые. Они курят, пьют алкоголь, употребляют наркотики. Они бродят по интернету и играют в компьютерные игры весь день и ночь. Многие подростки принадлежат таким субкультурам, как готы и любители рисовать граффити, носят неформальную одежду и стрижки, приходят домой поздно.Родителям не нравится такое поведение, и они ссорятся со своими детьми. Иногда подростки убегают из своего дома или совершают самоубийство, потому что они думают, что никто не понимает их.В моей семье нет такой проблемы как конфликт поколений, но я знаю семьи, где эта проблема действительно есть. Я думаю, что ссориться с родителями — хобби только глупых детей.
I decided to be a journalist. I think it is an interesting and useful profession. I like to watch TV, listen to the radio, read newspapers and magazines. I like everything which connected with mass media. I have a hobby. My friends and I are publishing a small newspaper once a month in our school. We write articles about school events, life of young people, jokes, draw pictures and caricatures. My favourite school subjects are history and literature. I like the profession of a journalist. They meet many people. They try to understand what is going on in the world, or the country, or the city and try to explain it to other people. I think that the work of a journalist is very much like that of historian. A historian studies and tries to explain events of the past and a journalist does the same about the present. But for me to be a journalist is much more interesting than to be a historian because you deal with real events that are happening right now so you can even influence them. So journalists can influence the history. That is why I want to be a journalist.
