"the door is never looked at nine o'clock," she said to herself. she took out her key and unlocked the door. as she walked into the office, helen saw that all the windows were closed. it was summer and her secretary opened the windows and curtains when she arrived in the morning. but helen's secretary wasn't at her desk this morning.
