Korkyt Ata is a common value in the whole Turkic world today. However, each Turkic people has its own ancestor Korkyt. For example, if we compare the Korkyt Ata of the Kazakhs with the Korkyt Ata of the Turks in Turkey, the Korkyt Ata of the Kazakhs is associated with pre-Islamic beliefs, while the Korkyt Ata of the Turks is associated with Islam and the spread of Islam among the Turks.
