Surfing is an extreme sport where a surfer rides the waves on a surfboard. There are such styles as long-boarding (the board is 3-3,5 meters long) and short-boarding (the board is 2-2,5 meters long). Surfers usually attach their legs to their boards with a leash. They also often wear a wetsuit which helps them to stay longer in cold water.
Surfing is popular in countries that have access to the ocean, such as the USA, Bali, Australia, Mexico, Portugal, Spain and France. There are a lot of competitions of surfers when competitors ride sets of waves and judges determine who has the best score based on a number of factors.
