,дорогие!! (1)Собака – верный и преданный друг человека. (2)Но иногда она может стать ещё и незаменимым . (3)Так случилось с сибирскими хаски. (4)В Восточной Сибири и на Аляске, где нельзя обойтись без ездовых собак, именно они пришли на человеку. (5)Сначала люди использовали для езды в упряжке собак самых разных пород. (6)Но скоро стало понятно, что не каждая собака выжить в суровых природных условиях и тем более человека. (7)А хаски выживали.
(8)В чём же было преимущество этой породы собак? (9)Оказывается, хаски очень
выносливы и могут бежать с огромной скоростью. (10)Их не пугают северные заснеженные равнины, они быстро перевозить людей из одного пункта назначения в другой. (11)Правда, хаски с трудом справляются с перевозкой тяжёлых грузов. (12)Но здесь им на пришли люди и создали облегчённые сани. (13)Теперь собакам легче преодолевать долгий путь.
(14)Подвиг сибирского хаски Балто нам лучше понять и оценить этих собак. (15)Балто был вожаком стаи, ведущим в упряжке псом. (16)В пятидесятиградусный мороз он один смог дотянуть до города упряжку, в которой врач вёз лекарства детям, больным дифтерией. (17)В память об этом событии был поставлен памятник Балто. (18)Табличка с описанием его подвига завершается тремя словами: «Выносливость, верность, ум».
