When I came home, my brother was sweeping the floor in his room. While I was writing the email, the computer suddenly went off. Some were swimming in the lake while others were lying in the sun.
Present Simple –
I do my homework every day. I go to school five days a week. He works at the factory. Mary lives in Paris. It snows a lot in winter. We were cooking all morning because we had 15 people coming for lunch.
Present Perfect –
I have already written this composition. He has already seen this film. She has lived in England for three month. We have just cooked potatoes with vegetables. You have already been in Prague.
Past Perfect –
James had washed his hands before he went to the canteen. I put on me clothes after I got up. The students said that he hadn’t done his homework. We saw that everybody had already gone.
