With technology innovations we have got many entertainment options like television, computer games etc. And in today’s modern lifestyles unfortunately children pass their valuable time on watching television and playing computer games. But this has negative effect on their body, mind and studies. Hence Parents should limit the time their children spend on watching television and playing games on computer. Let us see how it impacts and what can be done. Today most of the parents are working and children spend their time alone at home with watching television or playing computer games. Now a day these electric gadgets are a fashion of the children’s world for example Tabs, mobile, computer games etc. Most children demanding electric items and their parents provide their demand, because they don’t have time to spend with their children. Spending lot of time in watching television will have negative effects on children’s mind and body. Children get violence in their nature, or they don’t like to interact with other children so easily. They can become homesick. Children plays games on computer but not on the play grounds, that means no health exercise. Contentious television watching and playing games on computer affects the vision hence brings eye diseases and other health issues. Children should go to ground and play games. It will make them sport savvy and healthy. Exercise is most important thing for health. If there are no grounds nearby children should join sports clubs or camps.
When children spend their valuable time on watching television and playing games on computer, it has direct impact on their studies. They are less focused on the examination preparation, lose their concentrations and score minimum marks in the examination. At last I would like to suggest to parents that they have to fix the children’s time spending on watching television and playing computer games. Spend quality time with their children and counsel them on studies, family values etc.
