white clouds are floating across the blue sky, and the sun is shining brightly. raindrops and dewdrops shine on
every small green leaf and every blade of young grass.
the farmer has ploughed his fields and the new corn is just beginning to appear above the ground. in a few
months autumn and harvest time [bad word] when the corn has turned ripe and golden the farmer will reap it
and put it in his barn.

Sport is an important part of every person’s life. It helps people to keep fit, healthy and slim. Sport is also very competitive. When it first appeared in the world people started thinking of different contests and choosing the best ones in each category. The Olympic Games, which take place every four years, are a good example of competition. It’s a great occasion, where sportsmen from all over the world can show their talents. I’m a great fan of these games. If I only had a chance, I would happily participate in such competition, or at least I would like to be the spectator at these games. My favourite sport is figure-skating. I always follow the news in the field of figure-skating and I try not to miss the beautiful shows of this sport on TV. I’m also quite good at ice-skating but I’m not as professional as most of the girls on the ice-rink. Other sports that I do and enjoy are swimming and tennis in summer and skiing in winter. One of my best friends is a professional tennis player. She goes in for tennis since early childhood and each time there is a local or regional championship she takes part and often wins. I’m very proud of her. The sport that I don’t like is football. It’s a bit boring for me, though my dad really loves watching the matches. Speaking about everyday trainings I always try to do my morning exercises and sometimes if my friend is up to it we go jogging. I like sport. It plays a great role in my activities. Most of all I like to play basketball. I am a very good player and often take part in different sport competitions. Sometimes we win them but sometimes we lose. Basketball is a team game. It is played in any season because you play this game is indoors game. It is played in a gym. But sometimes you can see streetball - basketball in an open air. There are two baskets in this exciting game and only one orange ball. Players must throwthe ballto the basket andgetto it to score a goal. There are two teams with only five players.

Many people keen in sport because it makes us healthy and help us to be fit. During you play any sport game you are active and it helps you to burn many calories. Basketball is an active game. It makes people be strong, healthy and energetic. It is a game for everybody even for disabled people.

To my mind any sport is risky and dangerous. Basketball is riscky too because every minute you can break your arm or leg or get another problem with your health.

I like playing basketball most of all. And I am a basketball fan too. I enjoy watching matches on TV and at the stadium. I have been to the stadium twice. It was great.

На мой взгляд, любой вид спорта рискованный и опасный. Баскетбол тоже, потому что каждую минуту вы можете сломать руку или ногу или получить другую проблему с вашим здоровьем.

Мне нравится играть в баскетбол больше всего. И я также фанат баскетбола. Мне очень нравится смотреть матчи по телевизору и на стадионе. Я был на стадионе два раза. Это было здорово.
