Writing part
Task 1
You have received a letter from your English-speaking friend, Alex, who writes:
… when we were kids, my brothers and I used to get on well, but now it's impossible to share the room with them! I'm desperate and don't know what to do to improve our relationships!
Did you use to have better relationships with your family and friends than now? Did you do anything to change the situation? What do you think I should do?
Write your answer to Alex and answer his three questions.
Write 100-120 words. Remember the rules of letter writing.
[Mary]: Hi, Sam. How are you? Why do you look so sad?
[Sam]: Hi, Mary. I am bad. I have just failed my math exam.
[Mary]: I am sorry. Do you have to take it again?
[Sam]: Yes, I am going to take next Monday.
[Mary]: Then you have much time to get ready for the test.
[Sam]: Yes, but don't understand anything.
[Mary]: It's not a problem. I can help you if you want.
[Sam]: Do you know math well?
[Mary]: I have passed this exam with excellent mark. You shouldn't worry.
[Sam]: Ok, thank you. So, when can you help me?
[Mary]: I can do it tomorrow in the morning. Will you be ready at that time?
[Sam]: Of course. Thank you! I have to go now. See you tomorrow! Goodbye!
[Mary]: Ok. See you tomorrow! Bye!
