Staying safe is a question of common sense and taking some basic precautions.
Pickpockets is one of dangers which waits you on the streets. To protect ourselves we shouldn't carry large sums of money and keep some change in a side pocket, so that, for example, you don't have to produce your wallet whenever you need to tip. And we should keep our bags close to our bodies when we use a subway. Cities are very dangerous with their car accidents, pickpockets and inner areas. But we are still in danger when we come home, especially if we live alone in the house. There are many types of thieves we can be attacked by. Kidnapper can take someone of our families by force and demand money. Burglars steal things by breaking into a house and if you don't have a signaling, he will go unpunished. If you live in apartment house, you
may never face with burglars, but it happens sometimes. Traveling abroad with a group of people is safer than when you're alone. Car theft is a common crime perpetrated even by teenagers, so you should remember some easy
rules. When you leave the car - lock it, even if you're getting out for just a few minutes. Make sure nothing of value is visible inside, use supervised car
parks whenever possible. All this rules about safety are very easy, but
people usually forget about them. All the accidents happen because of the people's silliness.
