William Shakespeare, the greatest English playwright, was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon in England. Stratford country is small town in a farming area near the centre of England party at which pretty river with grass and trees along the coast, passes through . Stratford. Not much is known about the father of Shakespeare. He was a farmer, who, at different times of his life, he sold the meat and bought and sold wool. He was poor and was often in financial difficulties. Very little is known about the life of his only son William, and a small house where the great writer was born still stands. It is now a Museum. William went to school in Stratford. In 1586 he went to London. Probably at first, he worked there in one of two theatres that were in London at the time. He then became an actor and soon began to write plays for the troupe to which he belonged. Shakespeare bought a big house in his native city in 1597, but he didn't spend much time there till 1610. He spent the last years of his life.
