Home is a cosy and warm place where you can hide from bad weather, have some rest from a noise, eat some good food and sleep tight. That’s why everyone should have a roof over his head, not only human beings but also animals.
Wild animals dig holes, make nests and digs, hide inside hollowed trees or in the forests. But what about cats and dogs that live in the cities and are not used to wandering and don’t know where to find food or where to hide?
A lot of them die in the streets before they become mature. Some of them get seriously sick and their diseases can be transferred to humans or they can just get aggressive. Best case scenario they continue wandering for the rest of their lives, hide in the basements of the houses and look for food in landfills.
This situation is very upsetting that’s why every time I see a kitten or a puppy in the street I feel very sorry for them. I really want to pet it, feed it or take it home.
But you can’t take all the cats and dogs home. Luckily there are special shelters that become their home temporary. People who work their are usually volunteers that love animals and try to make their life better.
A lot of animals in shelters find their new home soon. People come to the shelter on their own in order to get a kitten or a puppy or sometimes they come to different charity events.
