Hi mum!
I am writing from London, the capital of the UK! The city is very big and there are many tourists from all over the world here. I was very excited about the London buses – they have two floors and are bright red. Yesterday, we went to the Tower of London where we learnt all about the history of England and saw the Crown of the Queen! There was also a shop to buy souvenirs like clothes, stuffed toys and mugs. I bought a t-shirt with the Union Jack on it and a book about the Kings and Queens of England.
Most of the time it is very rainy and cloudy here but today it is sunny so we’re going for a picnic. London has many beautiful parks, like Hyde Park and St. James’s Park, where people go for picnics or to hang out with friends when the weather is good. In Hyde Park there is even a lake with little boats in it! What an amazing city!
