For students in the USA and the UK, it's customary to spend their free time in school, participating in various activities. Everyone can find something he or she likes. Each school offers a wide range of activities. Among them, I would like to mark painting, sculpture, professional photographer classes. Besides those activities, lots of sport activies can be taken. Those include, for example, golf, football, soccer, tennis(big as well as table).
In addition, students do a lot of volunteering. They even have special standards- one should volunteer, let's say, 30 hours in a month. This also gets students occupied with something, developing sympathy as well.
Yet some outdoor activities are widespread as well. As all the teenagers round the world, teenagers in the US and the UK spend their free time outdoor, playing sports, going somewhere to have fun or just talk and gossip sometimes.
Last Monday Angie got up for work as usual and went to the kitchen to have some breakfast. But when she opened the fridge, she found that her flat-mate Lucy had drunk all the milk – not a good start to the day! So she had a quick cup of black coffee, got dressed and went out to the car. There she found that she had forgotten to put the cover on the car the night before and there was thick frost all over the windscreen. She scraped it all off and got into the car. However, when she turned the key, nothing happened! Someone had left the headlights on and the battery went flat. She was furious as Lucy had used the car last and it was her who had forgotten to switch off the lights. Angie headed for the bus stop to wait in the freezing cold.
