⦁Peter greeted Max, and asked him to introduce him to his friend. He introduced him to Alex. He asked if his name was familiar to him.
⦁He answered that he didn’t think that way. He greeted Alex, and said that he was glad to know him.
⦁Alex greeted Max, and said that he was pleased to meet him. He asked him how he was getting on.
⦁Max said he was very well and thanked Alex for his politeness and asked Alex about his life.
⦁Alex said that his life was very much the same and thanked Max for his politeness. Alex said that he had thought that the weather had been fine, and asked Max if he was agree with him.
⦁Max said that the weather was lovely that day and that he hoped that it would keep fine.
⦁Alex said that he thought he had been acquainted/was acquainted with his brother.
⦁Max was surprised. He told Alex not to say so. He asked Alex if they worked together.
⦁Alex answered that they didn’t, and that nevertheless he saw very much of him. He said that Max’s brother was clever, well-educated and had good manners.

⦁Alex told him to keep in touch too. He wished Max all the best and said good bye to him.
