It is about two hundred kilometres of open air stalls. This amazing event is only an annual event which happens during the first weekend of September. Another shopper's paradise is in Russia. Moscow has many flea markets but the Vernisazh flea market is the most famous. But flea markets are not just places where tourists can buy inexpensive things. The Annex Antiques Fair and Flea Market in New York, is a trendy market for famous Hollywood stars. So, as you see, flea markets offer something for everyone!

It was the first airship with a special design that allowed it to travel faster than those built before. In 1910, the airship Deutschland became the world's first commercial airship. By 1914, German Zeppelins had travelled over 172,000 km and carried over 34,000 passengers.
Once a pale and thin man came to me and gave me a note from a friend who was a doctor. I was asked to help the man. I remembered that my friend had told me of this man before. He had a very weak heart. I wondered if he wanted me to do something for him. "I will be thankful to you if you find me a job that does not require any physical effort," he explained. The next day I rang to a kind theatrical manager and asked if he had any work for an invalid. "If he manages to stand for fifteen minutes, I shall take him. He will act in the last scene in a play we are staging now." On the first performance of the play I saw him standing near the front of the stage with a spear in his hand and looking very happy and proud. Some time later I learned from my friend, the doctor, that the man with the weak heart had fallen in love with a dancer and asked her to become his wife. The woman fell in love with him too and one day she visited the doctor to find out about the man's health. She made him tell her all the truth and fainted when the doctor told her that the man would die very soon. A month later while I was returning from the party, I met my friend. He said that woman had written a letter to the man with a weak heart. Next day he was found dead in his room. It was joy that killed him because she had agreed to become his wife.
