But before you start telling how we went there, it is probably worth telling who these "we" are. For, as they say, "we are different" (well, okay, in the original cartoon about a teddy bear it was a little different, but these are details).
Officially, our expedition was called The Women's Euro-Arabian North Pole Expedition.
From the name, even without translation, it is clear that the expedition was exclusively female. Eleven participants from the UK, Qatar, Sweden, Oman, Saudi Arabia, France, Cyprus, Slovenia, Kuwait and Russia. The two participants were from the UK, so the number of countries does not match the number of participants.
Of course, the first question that arises is who are all these people?
The second question, which at least came to me - what is in their head? I especially wanted to know what was in the mind of the Arab girls, who, before they were included in the list of expedition participants, saw snow only in pictures.
And then once - and to the North Pole. And even in the sports team.
Well, yes, this is the second important detail. In addition to the fact that our expedition was purely female, it was also an expedition without guides. To understand the moment - this year it was the only ski group to reach the North Pole without guides. Yes, in my opinion, and not only in this.
And here we go back to the title. Honestly, I didn't invent it. This is an excerpt from the post-expedition letter from the head of the expedition, Felicity Aston, to the participants.

Because what is there to hide. What I heard when I said that I would go as part of the women's international team.
