Our classroom is large and light. There are three large windows with pink curtains on them. The walls are pink too. The ceiling is white. The floor is brown.
Our classroom is decorated with flowers and pictures. There are flowers on the window-sills and on the walls. Some of the pictures are drawn by us at our Drawing lessons. Others are drawn by our parents.
In the right corner near the door there is a TV set, a record player, and a tape recorder. On the wall there is a blackboard. In the left corner there is a teacher’s table.
There is a large bookcase near the back wall of the classroom. There are a lot of books in it. In the low sections of the bookcase we keep our toys and games. When we stay in the classroom after classes we take them to play.
My favorite sport There is a variety of sports all around the world to choose from! I’m a pretty active person and one of my favorite sports to practice is dancing. I take classes at a dance studio where we learn and perform many outstanding movements. Dancing helps me relax my mind but at the same time train the body and keep a healthy lifestyle. You don’t have to be a professional in order to start dancing. I suggest everyone to try this amazing type of sport and maybe it will even become your hobby!
Мой любимый спорт Вокруг мира есть множество различных видов спорта из которых можно выбрать. Я достаточно активна и один из моих любимых видов спорта это танцы. Я занимаюсь в студии где мы учимся и практикуем чудные движения. Танцы мне расслабиться но а также тренироваться и поддерживать здоровый образ жизни. Вы не должны быть профессионалом, чтобы начать танцевать. Я рекомендую всем попробовать этот прекрасный вид спорта и может он даже станет вашим хобби!
Mikhail Lomonosov was born in 1711 in Archangelsk province. His father was a fisher and young Mikhail liked to help him. He always strove for knowledge and liked reading books. As he was 19 years old, he decided to study in Moscow. He went there on foot. In Moscow he entered the Slavic- Greek- Latin Academy. After his graduation from Academy he was sent abroad to complete his knowledge in chemistry and mining. After he had returned from abroad, he became the first Russian professor of chemistry in 1745.
At first he was engaged in research in physics and chemistry. Since 1748 he had conducted works in the first Russian chemical research laboratory, which was built at his request. Since 1753 he was engaged in research in many fields of natural and applied sciences. He wrote works on physics, astronomy, geography, history. Besides scientific works, he wrote poems as well. He is the author of the first scientifical grammar of the Russian language. He founded the factory producing colored glass. He created some mosaics using the glass produced at the factory. Lomonosov was the founder of the first Russian university. This university is situated in Moscow and still carries his name. Mikhail Lomonosov died in 1765. But he is still known as the father of the Russian science, an outstanding poet, the founder of Russian literature.
