I want to tell about my extracurricular activities. Twice a week I attend the drafts section. We are in charge of the group. I myself have chosen this sport. Checkers is important for the development of any child, it helps to think by itself, making you smarter. I myself enjoy being in this section and studying there with other children. I make a lot of new friends there. Our teacher often praises me for making great progress. I have small achievements. The three awards that I received at the tournament make my family very happy. I will continue to try to please them with my achievements and knowledge that I receive thanks to the checker.
Toby:
Hi. I'm Toby and I'm from Liverpool in the north-west of England. It's a big city, but it's really friendly. There are a lot of interesting things to see and do here. Liverpool is on the River Mersey and my favourite place is the Albert Dock. This is a group of old buildings by the river. There are cafés and restaurants, an art gallery and some museums. Anfield Stadium is a fantastic place to visit if you're into football. My family are British, but we're from different places. My mum's from Belfast in Northern Ireland, and my dad's from Cardiff in Wales. My sister is at university in Edinburgh in Scotland. That means ve act family in every capital city in Britain exc the biggest capital in the UK. igh million people there. It's an exciting place to visit, but I think the people in Liverpool are friendlier!
