Dear jim, How are things in Wicklow? I have not seen you for ages so I decided to write and give you all the news from Glentown. The football team is doing really well this season. We have reached the semi- final of the Cup. The new goalkeeper we got after you left is great. He has not let in a goal in the last three matches. My sister, Sandra, Has just had a baby girl, so I am now an uncle. Maybe I will be able to make some money from baby- sitting and then I can come down on the train to visit you. Write soon and let me know all the news. Your friend, Martin

1 Introduction   (Введение)

My favourite film is called "Hachiko".    This is an amazing story about a dog which was the most faithful and devoted friend in the whole world for her owner.

2 Plot of the film ( Сюжет фильма)

The plot is remarkable but very tragic: Parker Wilson (Richard Gere), a University Professor, returning home in the evening after work, finds at the train station a lost puppy. After several unsuccessful attempts to find the owner of a dog, Parker decides to keep the puppy, naming him Hachiko. From that moment between Parker and Hachiko occurs deep friendship and sincere affection, they spend much time together.  One day, Parker went to work, where he had a heart attack, and he died... but Hachiko continued to come daily to the station and wait for the Parker train.

After some time, Hachiko dies on the parapet, where he for so many years was waiting for Parker.

3. General comments (Комментарии)

The film was shot by Holliwood film producer Lasser Khalstryom in 2009.

The role of the main hero in the film was brilliantly performed by a popular American film actor Richard Gere.

4. Conclusion (Заключение)

I highly recommend watching the film "Hachiko" to all those people who haven't seen it yet.  I'm sure the film will make a very deep impression on everyone.
