In most areas of his life, a person cannot do without a computer. This situation is due to its capabilities. Storage and exchange of information, communication between people, numerous computing programs - all this makes it irreplaceable for a modern person. However, using a computer has both positive and negative aspects.

Pros of the computer:

if possible connecting to the Internet, a computer is becoming an irreplaceable source of information: encyclopedias, dictionaries, reference books are available to the user at any time of the day;

also, with the ability to connect to the Internet, a computer is a means of communication for people living in different countries; this is possible by registering an e-mail box, registering on social networks, on Skype, etc;

the amount of computer memory allows you to load various programs used in offices, factories and production;

the computer is a versatile entertainment medium: disc games, online games, audio players and video players.

Cons of a computer:

negative impact on the child's psyche through free access to prohibited sites and programs, as a result of which the child may become dependent on the computer and aggressive;

every computer user needs training, which not everyone can do, however, given the fact that programs are becoming more and more advanced, this problem will soon cease to matter;

additional costs for electricity, maintenance and repairs, which are often very expensive.

I would like to point out that the disadvantages of using a computer depend on the person. This means that only in the hands of a person is it possible to use this useful technique exclusively in their own interests.
