The threat to human life, pollution of its habitat, the gradual depletion of natural resources and a number of other factors caused nowadays the global ecological crisis that threatens the very existence of mankind. Environmental threat is now so great that it can be put in one row with the danger of nuclear war. Many scholars believe that the environmental watch of disaster has already been running, counting down the time.
2) In my hometown, ecological problems are connected with soil erosion, dirty air and debris in the areas of mass rest. We can also observe water pollution problems. My friends and I are unable to prevent such harmful influence of man on nature, but we try not to litter outdoors, and remove someone else's rubbish if we see it in the area of our stay.

Многие ученые считают, что часы экологической катастрофы уже запущены, и начали отсчитывать время.
2) В моем родном городе экологические проблемы связаны с эрозией почвы, загрязненным воздухом и мусором в местах массового отдыха. Мы также можем наблюдать проблемы загрязнения воды.
3) Мы с друзьями не можем предотвратить такого пагубного влияния человека на природу, но стараемся не мусорить на улице, а убирать чужой мусор, если видим его в зоне нашего пребывания.
