I'm 17. I am a student of a medical college. Our college is one of the oldest educational institutions. Its graduates are considered to be qualified specialists. We have three departments. I would like to tell you about them. "Medical care" gives the qualification of a paramedic. A paramedic provides medical care including measures of prophylaxis and treatment. Our graduates work in policlinics, educational institutions, kindergartens and ambulance. "Pharmacy" gives the qualification of a druggist. Their work demands knowledge of vulnerary plants or of making medicine. Our graduates work in drugstores and everything like that. I am a student of the department of "Nursing care". It gives the qualification of a nurse. A nurse is the main doctor's assistant. She provides medical care including measures of prophylaxis and aftertreatment. Our graduates can work at schools, policlinics, in the private medical centers, hospitals etc. I'd like to work in a hospital. I've chosen this profession because I want to help people and I am very interested in this sphere. My attitude to my studies is positive.
