Day of Remembrance is popularly known as Poppy Day.Iy is a memorable day in the countries of the British Commonwealth of Nations.It's celebrated annually on November 11 and designed to perpetuate the memory of all British Commonwealth soldiers who died in conflicts involving Great Britain.
I would say i talk to people less because of the devices that we have nowadays. I talk to people less and less every day. I mean I do talk to people on the phone, i text them a lot, but i guess we do not talk to each other directly as often as the previous generations did - that's what i mean. I wouldn't say the difference between the generations in terms of the amout of communication is big but it's clear that we do not hang out so often. i think i communicate a lot with my relatives and friends. And saying that i do not communicate at all is an exaggeration. But we have to admit that we talk to one another less than they did in the past.
Once upon a time in the middle of winter a queen (was sitting ) at her windows made of ebony. she (was sewing). suddenly the queen pricked her finger with her needle. there (was) some blood on her finger. the three colours: white, black and red made her (say) to herself: i would like (to have) a little daughter with a skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony. very soon a little daughter was born to her. she (was) the prettiest little girl in the kingdom, just as the queen (had wanted) her (to be). everybody (liked) (to watch) the little girl (playing) in the garden or (feeding) her favourite pet animals. All people in the kingdom (forgot) what this little Princess's real name (had been) because she (was called) "Snow White". Unfortunately, before her little daughter (grew) up, the good Queen (had died) and a year later the King (married) another woman. The new Queen (was) tall and very beautiful but she (did not want) anybody (to be) more beautiful than herself. She often (asked) her magic looking glass, "Mirror, mirror on the wall! Who is the fairest one of all?" And the looking glass always (answered) that the Queen (was). The Queen (did not expect) any woman or girl (to become) as beautiful as the day, and (to be) more beautiful than herself. The looking glass always (told) the truth. So as soon as the Queen (heard) she (was) the most beautiful lady in the kingdom she (felt) quite pleased. But when seven more years (had gone) by, the Queen (got) a different answer to her usual question. The mirror (said) Snow White (had become) the prettiest girl in the country. That unexpected answer (made) the Queen pale. She (wanted) her servant (to take) Snow White away into the forest and (kill) her.
