1)Sir Christopher Wren–English architect, the most prominent representative of English classicism, mathematician and astronomer. Architect of St. Paul's Cathedral in London from 1675 to 1710, as well as many London churches (53 in all), including St Bride, Fleet Street and St Mary-le-Bow, Chipside; Royal Exchange, Marlborough House, Sheldonian Theater (Oxford). His scientific works were highly valued by Isaac Newton and Blaise Pascal. Wren became one of the founders of the Royal Society of London and was its president from 1680 to 1682.
2)Buckingham Palace claims to be one of the most luxurious residences in the world. Judge for yourself: there are 775 rooms in the palace, of which 19 are state rooms, 52 are for the Queen, her family and guests, and 188 are for staff.
3)Camden Market - A series of adjoining retail markets located in the former Pickford stables in Camden Town, London.
4)Big Ben is the largest of the six bells in Westminster Palace. Many people think that this is the name of the clock tower in London, but in fact this is the name of the 13-ton bell that is located inside it, behind the dial. Big Ben's official name was "The Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster".
5)Horatio Nelson - a prominent British naval commander, Vice Admiral, Baron. He was distinguished by outstanding leadership qualities and mastery of strategy, which was manifested in many decisive naval victories.
6)Oxford Street: All the shops on High Street
Oxford Street stretches from Marble Arch (the famous marble arch at the entrance to Hyde Park) in the west to the Centrepoint Tower high-rise office building in the east.

На неделе я путешествовал с родителями.
В аэропорт мы поехали на такси. Приехав туда, мы положили чемоданы на карточку и отправились в аэропорт .Аэропорт был очень занят. Там было слишком много людей. Некоторые из них стояли у стойки регистрации. Другие сидели за справочным столом. Когда мы сели в самолет, стюардесса поздоровалась с нами и указала на наши места. В самолете тоже было много народу. Это было фантастично, когда самолет начал подниматься в воздух. Я посмотрел в окно. Все под нами было очень маленьким - улицы, машины, здания и люди. И я был очень взволнован. Юля
