1. In a hospital there is a mad man. He goes for a walk and pulls a toothbrush on a string. The doctor sees him and says, "You have a nice dog.” The man says, "Oh, Doctor. This isn’t a dog. This is a toothbrush.” The doctor thinks, "This man is getting better!” After a while, the man says to his toothbrush, "What a nice joke, Dogy.”
Use the cues to explain what has been happening. Then add your own explanations. Example : 1. He's been fighting with a friend. He's been walking with his eyes closed. He's been boxing. 1. A small boy has a black eye. (fight with a friend) 2. A dog looking happy and lincking his mouth. (eat a bone) It has been eating a bone. It has been watching a little bird. It has been having a nice dream. 3. A boy, all wet, is comming out of the pond in the park. (get the ball) He has been getting a ball out of the pond. He has been playing in the park. He has been looking for his mother. 4. A woman has a very dark tan. (sunbathe) She has been sunbathing for 5 hours. She has been swimming in the sea. She has been reading a book on the beach. 5. A woman in a tracksuit is walking out of the park. (jog) She has been jogging. She has been doing physical exercises in the park. She has been jumping.
