я не поняла, что ты имел ввиду во втором предложении, по-моему ты как-то неправильно его написал. но если переводить то, что написано, то получится: He asked me what my from was. Это если подчеркнутая часть - подлежащее.

He asked me if I knew this boy.

He asked me if I wanted to travel to Europe or to the USA.
