For many people summer is the best season of the year and my family is not an exception. Both my parents love to travel abroad while they are on vacation. As for me, I also like seeing new places and meeting new people. My name is Alina. I’m the 9th grade pupil at the local secondary school. I have lots of friends at school and in the neighborhood. So, when the summer starts I get lots of free time to spend with my friends. This summer was full of positive emotions. From the moment it started me and my parents left for Croatia for a week. Weather and nature in this country were magnificent. We swam a lot in the azure sea, we sunbathed, then we took some excursions to see the places around the country and we also made lots of new friends there. We are still in touch with some of them. When we came back I started seeing my friends more often. We went for shopping to the mall, we also went to one pizza place, which is my favourite. All in all, we had a great time together. At the end of the summer we went to visit my grandparents. They live in a village which is four hours of drive from us. The air there is always fresh and clean compared to the city polluted air. At my grandparents’ I also have some good friends, so I wasn’t bored there. I stayed out a lot, where we played basketball, hide-and-seek, and even went to pick mushrooms once. I should say that summer was great! It’s a pity, it ended so fast.
I hope you are well. I want to tell you about my hobbies and interests. During the week, I my homework in the evenings and after that I watch TV. I like watching sitcoms and reality shows but I don't really like talk shows. Sometimes my friends come around and we watch a DVD. At the weekend, I do some sports. On Saturday morning, I play football with the school team and in the afternoon I go shopping. I always go to the cinema with friends on Saturday night. On Sunday I relax at home and read a book or instead I go cycling. Tell me what you like doing in your next email
Spring is the most beautiful time of the year, everything starts to bloom, flowers appear and it is possible to walk with friends at least nights. In my spring break I will help my mother to clean the apartment, if I do not need help, I'll go for a walk.
But the weather has definitely failed me. Winter did not want to leave, even at the end of March it was very frosty.
But still, vacations are a vacation and my mood was festive every day.
I managed to go several times to the cinema, a couple of times I was visiting friends that I rarely meet in my daily life - they live far away and after school they do not go to visit them comfortably, and on weekends they always find something for me, caring parents .
I spent the spring break just fine. There have been many interesting events. For example, I went to the movies with my sister, I really liked it, and we will definitely go there again. And, my friend had a birthday, and we celebrated it in a cafe. Then we twice went to competitions in the Palace of Sports that would cheer for our team
