Crazy to think about that in less than a couple decades the rates of the expansion of the technical progress have grown massively. An unimaginable amount of life-enhancing inventions which seemed unreachable years ago are now taken for granted by people nowadays to the extent that we simply can no longer live without them. I would like to give a brief overview of the most important inventions of this decade.
This decade has brought numerous different things, ranging from world-wide easy communication to 3rd printing of actual live biological organs and curing known-to-be top human-killer diseases. Innovative technologies are everywhere around us, and the most vivid example of the thing we use daily, are our smartphones with touchscreens, social networks we waste an uncoutable amount of time on and so much more.
But the craziest and the most scary innovative technology in my opinion is the Artificial Intelligence, or AI, for short. It's hard to even think of how much better computers are at accomplishing almost any task. Computers nowadays are able to master intellectual games in hours to a point a human can't simply beat them or recognise pretty much any item in this world, they can even compose music or generate actual human faces indistinguishable from real ones.
Innovative technologies are becoming more and more wide-spread with time and it amazes me how fast we're swooping through the world of science. I'm so extremely looking forward to what 21th century will bring to us and I'm infinitely greatful to be lucky to be born this century.

The title of one of the tallest trees in the world belongs to eucalyptus. It can compete with Lebanese cedar and Sequoia. The most diverse variety of its species is common in Australia.
Eucalyptus grows extremely quickly. It is adapted to strong temperature changes and stony soils. The height, about two or three meters, he manages to reach in the first years of his life. Also, this tree is known for being able to get rid of the bark on its own. In extended trees, the bark hangs in ragged pieces because the trunk is growing very rapidly and does not have time to cover itself with bark in a timely manner.
In young eucalyptus, tubers begin to form on the roots, growing together with the tree, and with age they become covered with bark.
It is well known that eucalyptus is an evergreen plant, but when the dry period comes, the tree begins to shed its leaves.
In the eucalyptus forest, it is always light, and this is due to the fact that the leaves of the tree are always turned parallel to the light of the sun's rays. This tree grows very quickly, but flowering does not come so soon. Only after a year or two after the appearance of buds, red flowers bloom. The ripening of the fruit, which parrots willingly feast on, also lasts for another year. After ripening, the fruit still hangs on the tree for several years, until it opens up in boxes. It is also known that eucalyptus leaves are readily fed by a herbivorous marsupial animal – a Koala.
Eucalyptus is a valuable plant that has various advantages, because it has a strong wood, which is used to make piles for fixing the Foundation of buildings, and the branches are recycled for the production of paper. The leaves contain essential oils that are widely used in pharmacology and perfumery. Eucalyptus grows in all subtropical and tropical countries. This tree also grows on the territory of Russia, in particular, in the Caucasus and the black sea coast, but it often dies during cold weather.

Eucalyptus flowers produce a sufficient amount of nectar, which is actively fed by insects, birds, opossums and bats. Also, it is known that the flowers do not have petals, they are completely covered with stamens.
The wood of this tree is hard, not rotting, and therefore, is a very valuable material.
The leaves of the tree are used as spices.
Eucalyptus helps humanity get rid of many dangerous diseases. Dry leaves completely retain the most valuable essential oils that they contain.
A decoction of leaves helps a person cope with many ailments. For example, it is used in the following cases: for intestinal pain, gastritis, respiratory diseases, colds, flu.
