Владельцы планировали продать в Европе голубые и белые тарелки и блюда.Но Гельдермалсен так и не дошёл до берегов Европы.Но где то в Южном китайском море он напоролся на коралловый риф и затонул.Сорок четыре человека смогли Но весь груз корабля был утрачен(утонул). В 1980 году Дайверы (ныряльщики) нашли затонувший корабль.Нашли большую часть Блюд и упаковки чая упакованных в деревянные сундуки и подняли их на поверхность.Большая часть их сохранилась в отличном состояний (как новые). Они так-же 125 золотых слитков!
