My wife and I (have lived) in our present house in the country for five years. We (moved) here after our second child (had been) born. We (had lived) in town for ten years, and then (decided) that as soon we could afford if we (would move) away from smoke and the noise of the city centre, which we finally (did) in 1985. We have never (regretted) it. We (are) reminded of the wisdom of our decision every morning when (we draw) the curtains to see open fields stretching before us. When the children (have had) breakfast they (rush) outside to play which they (do/are doing) whatever the weather.
