I believe that powerful corporations should not throw out food without any causes. From a logical point of view, it is a waste of money, resources and time for producing in. Enormous amount of sustenance that become useless for corporation can be used for helping homeless people, that do not even have money to buy healthy and fresh meal.
The first thing that need to be said is pollution caused by this problem. Discards of food, especially in plastic wraps, are responsible for environmental degradation. This ecological problem had been discussed for long time, however, hardly had someone tried to seriously solve it. Thus supermarkets and other business concerns continue wasting outstanding goods.
The example was written in the text. There we can see a situation when a man finds sealed vegetables in trash bins next to the supermarket.
Secondly, wasting food is equal to wasting money. It means that it is а misallocation of resources. Some people just throw away the food that ran out meanwhile there are people who do not have a possibility to eat even that food - they are starving people and they need any nutrition. It sounds impossible but it is true. Europe alone has just an incredible amount of such people.
In the next text we see that second situation when a man finds 200 edible turkeys and 1 flat screen TV.
Thirdly, this shows our failure to think about consequences. Nobody does not take care of the future of our planet at all. Nevertheless, there are some people who are against for inaction and they investigate this problem. During the investigation, new words appear, for example, a freegan or vegan.
From these arguments one must conclude that every piece of food that can be consumpted should be consumpted. We cannot just throw food away.
