It is important to ask for advice from more experieneced teachers. They can tell you how to handle tricky situations, how to plan your lessons in a more efficient way, how to assess your students' answers, etc.
The second important thing is to be organized and teach your students to be organized and keep their desks tidy. It will help you to save a lot of time.
Another thing to do is to check your social media accounts. There shouldn't be any embarrassing photos or other controversial content because your students or their parents will definitely try to find some information on you.
