The Greeks are one of the most ancient peoples of the Crimea, although their modern number in the Crimea is small. In ancient times, two main Greek communities were formed in Taurida, which differed culturally and linguistically: Tauric Chersonesus, founded by the Dorians, and Panticapaeum, founded by immigrants from Ionia [1].
