Computer games are very popular nowadays. Both kids and adults like them. Some people consider video games a waste of time. Well, I don’t. Though players spend time in virtual reality, their emotions are real. Besides, computer games are training for a brain and some of them help to develop strategic thinking.
There are many types of computer games: shooters, role-playing, strategy, adventure, puzzle, simulation, educational etc. Some games are single-player, others have a multiplayer mode.
I prefer strategy games. In such games players not only shoot at enemies, but also develop their base or city. To win in the game you have to plan carefully how to spend the resources, which technologies to develop, what buildings to construct and what units to produce. There are turn-based and real time strategies. I like both of them.
So I consider gaming a good hobby, because it gives bright emotions and develops certain skills.
