It’s hard to imagine our life without TV. It entertains us a lot. When we were little, we were watching some funny cartoons on TV, interesting shows about animals and nature on the channel “Animal Planet” (this one was my favourite). There are a lot of different shows and programmes on TV for people of all ages. There are some music programmes, sport programmes, scientific shows and even live shows of some popular artists. However, now the Internet is becoming more popular than TV. Still a lot of people watch it. And they forget about disadvantages of watching TV. First of all, it affects on our eyesight. Secondly, it takes a lot of our free time that we could spend on something more useful - like reading a book (it’s also a lot of fun!). Thirdly, we are getting more lazy watching it, because it relaxes us a lot so we don’t want to do anything else. In conclusion, I want to say that every person should know how to balance his time and how to use it in the right way. We shouldn’t spend all day long watching TV, we should do some good stuff as well.
