It is known that people have been learning foreign languages(language) for thousands of years(year). The ancient Egyptians(Egyptian) learned the Greek language 2.5 thousand years(year) ago. In the 12th century the French language was learnt in many countries(country) of Europe. In the 16th century Europe began to study the German language. In the 19th century the nobility of different countries(country) communicated in French again/ Throughout the history mankind people needed some second language to understand each other. Nowadays, The English language is the most widespread in the world. Approximately 400 million people(man) speak English as a mother tongue. The English language has become a world language in politics, science, trade and cultural relations(relation). It is the language of computers(computer) technology. Half of the world’s scientific journals (journal) are in English. It is absolutely necessary for good specialist in any countries(country) to be able at least to read English. If you know English you can talk to people (men) of any nationality and get necessary information anywhere in the world. Besides the English is the language of the literature. W. Shakespeare, Ch. Dickens, Oscar Wilde and G. Bernard Show, they all wrote their books(book) in English. A lot of modern literature and many new films(film) in English come out every year. If you know English, you can understand them without translation. No wonder that most educated people(men) speaks English fluently.
Today one person in seven of the world’s population either knows English or learns it.
Many people think that if we have only one language, communication will become easier and there will be no need to learn foreign languages. I cannot agree with them because knowledge of foreign languages makes a person educated and well rounded. You cannot broaden your mind if you see the world only from the perspective of your own culture. Besides, people are a lot more helpful if you speak their language. In conclusion, I would argue that we should try our best to preserve the linguistic diversity of our planet. I think that larger cultures should have a respect for minority languages, but first of all the younger generation must want to preserve their native language

So how was it invented? Back then it was considered a really big discovery, which was accompanied with various myths and legends, as per usual. You won’t believe it but for a quite long period of time it was widely believed that this glue was primarily intended for gluing the wounds.
It is rather weird assumption, but quite explainable, as the glue was discovered during World War II by American scientist. By the way, it was a pure accident: in a search for materials to make clear plastic gun sights, a team of scientists stumbled upon cyanoacrylate that stuck to everything that it came in contact with. This discovery occurred to be very useful and was patented in 1995. In 1959 it was already being shown on TV.
For a long time the Super glue had been showing up on different American talk-shows, where its new fascinating features were discovered. Cyanoacrylate could glue together anything, even unprotected surfaces. The crucial problem of this glue is not gluing things too tightly, but the impossibility of separating them afterwards.
