1/ I have recently seen the film called "English Lessons". It is a сomedy about searching for the best work. 2/ I’d like to recommend this film to people who want just to relax and laugh. The plot centres on the three young losers who are looking for a job in the labour market, trying to realize themselves in the most prestigious professions. But one of them began to work as a seller, the other as a cleaner in the restaurant, and the third - a taxi driver. In this time their parents took part in the stupid reality shows, in one of which the winner gets a chance during only 5 minutes to completely defeat the apartment of his neighbor. The storyline is based on mutual assistance and friendship. 3/ I particular enjoyed the characters and the theme of friendship in the film. Director and screenwriter of the movie is Conrad Newelski, the operator is Mikolaj Lebkowski, the composer is Sebastian Skalsky. They could make the spectators laugh. Some of the scenes were really funny. The cast was very interesting too: with Boris Chic and Andrzey Andreevsky we met Tomasz Borkovskaya.
На английском языке и Перевод на русский язык Westminster Palace One of the most beautiful buildings in London is Westminster Palace. It’s a huge structure on the bank of the river Thames in Westminster district of London. The building connects with the Trafalgar Square and Whitehall Street. Originally, from 1529 the palace has been the English monarchs’ residence. After the fire in 1834, the building has been completely rebuilt and now it serves as the place of British Parliamentary meetings. The building contains about 1200 rooms, 100 stairs, and 5 kilometer of halls. The biggest and the oldest part of the building is called Westminster-hall. It was erected in 1097 and occupies the area of 1800 square kilometers. This room has once served a place of the English Supreme Court’s sessions. Many prominent people were sentenced to death here, among them, Guy Fawkes, Thomas Moore, Charles I and many others. Westminster Palace has several high towers. The most famous of all is Big Ben. Everybody knows that it’s the biggest clock in the world and that it’s the symbol of Great Britain. Another well-known tower is the Victoria Tower. It’s a bit higher than Big Ben. In 1987 the Westminster Palace and the adjacent Church of St. Margaret were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. By the way the world-famous Westminster Abbey is situated right behind the Westminster Palace.
Music is a wonderful art that is created specifically to give people joy. Every person has some favorite tunes that cheer him up and make him feel better. Sometimes one can mourn for a while to a music being in a melancholy mood, because it can help us to cope with our problems. Perhaps therefore, I like music so much and just can't imagine my life without it.
Most of all I like to play the guitar. I learnt the first guitar chords in childhood: my dad taught me. Then I began to attend a music studio and to take classes of playing this musical instrument from a professional teacher. It was at these classes, when I first tried to play in a band. When I was 10 years old, we organized a concert for our parents. During the performance, I played the lead guitar, our teacher accompanied me on the piano, and two other guys were in the composition of the rhythm section, i.e. played bass guitar and drums. It was a wonderful performance, during which I realized exactly what I wanted to do next.
After a couple of years, my classmates and I organized our own rock band. Now the main part of our repertoire consists of compositions of favorite performers, but it also has some of our own stuff. During its existence, our team managed to appear on the stage of the urban youth club and on some other venues. We have many rehearsals and are constantly in the process of creative music search.
Music classes for me are the main source of power and inspiration, so I intend to evolve in this direction. Friends also support my enthusiasm, so I think our band will continue its existence and after finishing school.
