It was still very early and sparkled on the grass dew. Grandpa was mowing grass, and I watched as she lies in equal rows on the ground. Grandpa suddenly stopped and called me to him. He put his scythe, unfolded hands grass in front of him and saw little leverets.
Рождество в моей семье I`m Nastya. I have got a family. We like Christmas. Our family celebrate Merry Christmas gaily. We buy a Christmas tree and make Christmas toys. We buy a lot of crackers, lights, stars, bells and baubles. On the thirtieth of Desember we decorate a Christmas tree and our house. Mum hangs a stocking for Santa Claus near the Christmas tree. We make presents for our friends. Mum will cook a Christmas pie and make salads. My mum, dad and I organize competitions and games. We write a letter for Santa Claus and wish him good luck too! Santa Claus brings us presents at twelve o`clock under the Christmas tree. He eats biscuits and drinks milk with us. When guests and friends come to us, we have got a holiday. I wait for Christmas every year because I like to get presents and my family like Christmas very much! I wish Merry Christmas for you too!
The Russian Federation is a presidential (or a constitutional) republic. The president is the head of the state and is elected directly by people. The USA is a federal republic consisting of 50 states. Each state has its own government; it’s like 50 small states. Official of any rank are elected by US citizens. The constitution proclaims a federal system of government which keeps both the states and the federal power from getting too much power. The federal power is located in Washington. It is based on legislative, executive and juridical branches of power. The legislative power is vested in Congress, which consists of two houses: the Senate and the House of Representatives. The executive branch is headed by the President who is assisted by the Vice President. The judicial branch is made up of Federal district Courts, 11 federal courts and the Supreme Court. There are also 3 branches of power in Russia. The President has much power; he controls all the three branches of power. The federal assembly represents the legislative power. It’s made of the two houses: the Federation Council and the State Duma, which make laws. The Federal government represents the executive branch of power; the juridical branch of power consists of the constitutional court, the Supreme Court and lower courts.
