Easter in Russia.
Not the secret that a great holiday of Resurrection or as it is accepted to call still Easter is noted usually in the spring. Easter date always happens different in intervals from April 4 to May 8. This year Easter in Russia is celebrated on April 15. Today in this article I want to tell you, Easter in Russia is how celebrated. In day of Easter people go to church, prepare a food, mark out him all family at the laid table and wish each other health.
All of us know that the main symbol of Easter in Russia is egg. The last week before Easter is called passionate, and Thursday this weeks – pure. And so since this Thursday people, start painting and decorating eggs, and also to bake Easter cakes. And here on Saturday before Easter it is accepted eggs and Easter cakes to shine in church and to treat then with them each other.
Easter can be celebrated in the bosom of the family or to visit relatives. Easter in Russia is celebrated at the table big and laid by a food. It was accepted to prepare those a food which shouldn't repeat then within a year earlier: these are colored eggs, Easter cakes, baked pies, fried veal.
And if people are going to go on a visit to each other, it is accepted to take with itself eggs and at a meeting to say "The Christ revive" – "Truly revive", and after to kiss each other three times.
In day of Easter it is also accepted to distribute money and a food to poor people.
