Mr.  White and Betty greet each other.  Mr.  White asks if  Dr Sandford is in.  Betty answers in the negative and adds that Doctor Sandford is still in the hospital.  Then Mr.  White wonders if Mrs Sandford is at home.  Betty again answers in the negative and explains that Mrs Sandford is out because she is in the park with Benny.  She also says that old Mrs Sandford is not well. Mr.  White is very upset to hear this and asks what the matter is.  He wonders if it is not the flue.   Betty calms him down by saying that it is a bad cold and Mrs Sandford is better today.  Mr.  White wonders if she is in bed.  According to Betty she is not.  Betty invites Mr.  White to come in and to have a talk with Mrs Sandford because she is always glad to see him.  But Mr.  White promises to come some other day.  Betty is sorry that Mr Sandford isn’t at home yet.  Mr.  White asks her to remember him to Mrs Sandford.  Betty promises to do it.  Then they say good-bye to each other.   Betty informs Mr.  White that on Saturday Mr Sandford is at home after four.  After this they part.
