Перевидите правльно ) pete: so, is the party going well? tess: what did you say? pete: is the party going well? it sounds as if everyone’s having a great time. tess: yeah, it’s absolutely brilliant. pete: well, a party for a gang of ten-year-olds isn’t my idea of a good time. are you all wearing costumes? tess: yes. i’m wearing my witch costume and chris is wearing ms frankenstein costume. pete: oh, he’s not wea^'g that old thing again! tess: yeah, and he’s terrifying everyone. pete: what kind of games are you playing? are you bobbing for apples: tess: no. we’re playing musical chairs and pin the tail on the donkey. it’s great fun. pete: what about food? what are you eating? tess: well, i made a pumpkin pie and toffee apples and the kids are really enjoying them so they’re nearly all gone. pete: oh, keep me one. please! tess: ok! are you doing anything at the moment? pete: no, not really. tess: well, why don’t you come over and help yourself to some toffee apples? the party is nearly over anyway. then, you can help me clean up! pete: i would do anything for a toffee apple! see you in ten minutes.

Тэсс: - Да, абсолютно великолепно.
Пит: - Отлично, идея группы десятилетних детей не моя идея для отличного времяпрепровождения. Вы что все нарядились в костюмы?
Тэсс: - Да. Я нарядилась в костюм ведьмы, а Крис в костюм Франкенштейна. 
Пит: - Ох, он ведь не оденет этот старый костюм снова!
Тэсс: - Да, он всех приводит в ужас.
Пит: - В какие виды игр вы играете? Вы подпрыгиваете за яблоками?
Тэсс: - Нет. Мы играем на музыкальных стульях и втыкаем хвост на осла. Это отличное развлечение.
Пит: - Как на счёт еды? Чем вы питаетесь?
Тэсс: - Я приготовила тыквенный пирог и карамельные яблоки, детям очень понравилось и они развлекаются, так что еда почти вся разошлась.
Пит: - Ох, оставь мне одно
Тэсс: - Хорошо! Ты чем-нибудь занят на данный момент?
Пит: - Нет, не совсем.
Тэсс: - Ну, такм почему бы тебе не присоединиться и пойти самому взять карамельные яблоки? Вечеринка почти закончилась. После ты можешь мне убрать.
Пит: - Я сделаю что угодно за карамельное яблоко! Увидимся в десять минут.

Nearly two thousand years ago, in 79 ad, a volcano called vesuvius erupted on the west coast of italy, south of naples. it was one o’clock on 24th august. in the busy roman port of pompeii, people were walking about in the streets, families were preparing lunch and children were playing. suddenly vesuvius erupted. there was a loud explosion. there was dust and ash everywhere. people rushed into the streets screaming. children ran to their parents crying. people tried to run away, taking their things with them. they tried to escape, but most of people and animals died. vesuvius has erupted many times. the last big eruption was in 1944. will vesuvius erupt again? nobody knows. if it does, it might be a small eruption or a big one. some people live close to vesuvius because the soil around it is good for growing crops. but it is also very dangerous.

the centers for disease control and prevention (cdc) recommend sports participation as a healthy way to maintain weight. individual sports, such as running, cycling, and weightlifting, are all particularly effective ways to burn calories and/or build muscle. staying within a recommended weight range reduces the likelihood of developing diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension.

6. sports boost your self-confidence

the regular exercise that comes with playing sports can boost your confidence and improve your self-esteem. as your strength, skills, and stamina increase through playing sports, your self-image will improve as well. with the renewed vigor and energy that comes from physical activity, you may be more likely to succeed in tasks off the playing field as well as on it.

7. sports have been linked to leadership traits

team sports such as soccer, baseball, and basketball are breeding grounds for leadership traits. studies done in high schools reveal a correlation between sports participation and leadership qualities. because of the opportunity to train, try, win, or lose together, people involved in sports are naturally more inclined to adopt a “team mindset” in the workplace and in social situations. the team mindset leads to strong leadership qualities over time.
