My father eats the same as my brother. My mother has a lighter breakfast of just yoghurt and a grapefruit. As for me, a cup of tea is enough for breakfast. And my mother sometimes scolds me for it, because it's important to have a really goods breakfast. We don't have our main meal at lunch time. My father takes sandwiches with him to work. To be healthy, he also eats fruit. My mother is able to be more varied in her lunches, because she is a housewife. It means that she can prepare what she likes. Her favourite dish is roast meat. As she likes to bake, there is always something tasty at home. Our evening meal is usually eaten at 7 o'clock. The main course is often meat with vegetables. Sometimes we eat pizza or pasta with delicious sauce. We try to eat our main meal together. In our busy lives it is the one time of day when we sit down and have a good talk.
Last summer I was on holidays at the Black sea. I was visiting my grandparents there. I love spending my summer vacation there as the weather is very nice and I have a lot of activities to do there. That summer we did many sports activities. First of all, I spent a lot of time swimming in the sea. That was the best pastime for me. Then we played beach volleyball every time we were on the beach. We had a great team and even won one trophy. Besides, I decided to take up rafting classes. For that I went to a different location not far from the area where I lived. This sport can be very dangerous, so a person needs a good physical condition and train a lot to do rafting. Our trainer had a great experience and he taught me a lot. As I went on my vacation with my sister she had a lot to do as well. She took up drawing classes. Besides, every night we went on a disco to dance and relax. That was an amazing time! I was so busy that I even had no time for my video games. I promised my grandparents to come back to them this year.
I learn English because it is one of the most used and widespread languages in the world. Besides, it is easier to learn comparing to other languages such as German and French. I like how it sounds as well - I like to listen to English songs and watch English movies. I would like to have a job in the future where I could use English. Though I've never been to England or America I hope that I visit these countries one day. So I could practice my language skills with native speakers. I think English became world language because it is easy and because it had been widespread by English colonists. If I have more speaking practice I think I can learn English better.
