Basketball started in America in XIX century. People wanted to play sports in winter, but it was too cold outside. Basketball was the game they could play inside in the gyms. Each school in the USA has its own team of young athletes. The pupils and their families and friends come to watch school games. Thousands of children play basketball at weekends. School games can be as much fun as the big games.

I don't walk much in winter, because it is cold outside. (тут вопрос не просто про прогулки а сколько ты времени проводишь на улице, есть же ещё другие занятия как те же снеговики, то есть ходить по улице ты можешь мало, а играть с друзьями sometimes, но можешь ответить и с walk) Sometimes we skate or roll down big slides, this winter we made 5 snowmen. тут ещё можешь на последний вопрос тоже написать типа Yes, these are my favorite winter sports
