My favourite writer is Natalya Shcherba, a Ukrainian writer known for writing works of teenage science fiction and fantasy.
Natalya was born in the town of Molodechno (BSSR) in 1983. She spent her childhood in Russia, but then her family moved to Ukraine where she lives now. She studied at the State Academy of Light Industry of Ukraine, but she left it after her fourth year and spent a few years working in her own fashion studio before she started to write fantasy books.
My favourite character created by Natalya is Vasilisa Ogneva who is a time wizard. She is a ginger-haired blue-eyed girl who got into a special world where people know how to control time. Vasilisa is kind and a bit naive, but she is also brave.
